In Revelation 8:3-4 we read that our prayers are so valuable that they are kept in heaven. Sometimes we can get discouraged when we think that our prayers aren’t being answered. Especially when it comes to salvation of loved ones. We want our loved ones to share in the same joy and comfort that we experience when we are with Jesus. Corrie ten Boom wrote in her book “Trust in God” that no matter how discouraged we are, when our prayers aren’t answered, God will never let us down. Then she goes on to mention examples on how her prayers were answered 25 years later, 45 years and sometimes even 60 years later. Be encouraged to keep on praying for your loved ones and know that your prayer will rise like incense for Gods presence.
Lord Jesus, I thank You that You are our Savior and Redeemer. Thank You that in You I find comfort and joy. I pray that (name your loved ones) may get to know You as their Saviour. Would you touch their hearts and open their eyes so they may see your beauty. Help me to not become discouraged when I don’t see the answers to my prayers yet and help me to keep them in my prayers. Lord, I pray you will break off obstacles that keep them from seeing your love and beauty. In Jesus Name, Amen.
