Hilversum Giving Goal

Project Food Package
Around 60 people receive a free hot meal every day. The food parcels supplement these meals—so they are not intended to be a complete month’s supply. We purchase food and hygiene products in bulk and divide them into smaller portions. People can then assemble their own parcels, depending on their needs. This includes products like rice, lentils, flour, as well as soap, deodorant, and other basic items.
What makes this project special is that the idea for the packages came from the people themselves. Most are unemployed but expressed a desire to give back. We developed a points system together for this purpose. Instead of money, participants receive “tokens” worth an hour’s wage. With these tokens, they can “earn” components of a package. The tasks range from odd jobs around the White Door to helping out in the community.
For people who are physically or mentally unable to work, we find adapted tasks so they can participate. In this way, we not only meet basic needs but also foster self-esteem, structure, and engagement—without the risk that financial assistance unintentionally contributes to addiction problems, which unfortunately affect many.
Imani Outreach Ministries
What do they do?
They are a ministry striving to create a positive impact in the lives of those in our community through a faith based approach. We have three focusses, baseball ministry, women’s ministry, and school sponsorship. Imani Ministry is a Christian organization and Official non profit in the states as well, as here in Uganda.
With all the moving parts of our ministry, the monthly cost gets high quickly. We feed 70 kid and also cover their school and medical needs. The cost of renting and maintaining our house is close to $1,300 monthly. Schooling($3,045 monthly), Baseball tournaments, women’s ministry costs, paying our employees, and covering any emergencies that pop up.
Our mission house rent is overdue, and we are struggling to meet essential expenses such as utility bills, tuition, scholastic materials, and medical care. We also need funding for tournaments that offer our youth a rare chance to shine, grow in confidence, and feel seen.
Pakistan Food Packages
Food Packages
Food Packages for Christian families in Pakistan. Food for about 50 families in Pakistan who work in the brick kiln, making bricks. They earn only 2 euros a day and are treated practically like slaves. For 50-60 euros, we can provide a family with a month’s worth of food parcels. We’ve worked with him before, following the floods, to which we also contributed from Hilversum a few months ago.

Huizen Ontmoet Interkerkelijk
Celebration Church Huizen is part of an interdenominational collective called Huizen Ontmoet Interkerkelijk (HOII). We gather once every few weeks to meet one another, to share how the churches are doing and what is being hosted. We look at what we can promote from one another and if we can collaborate. Together we carry the costs for the website (kerkeninhuizen.nl) and for printed items like flyers and banners. We host events like the Christmas Market and the Pop-up Inn. More information on kerstinhuizen.nl. We are also preparing to host an outside Sing-in with Pentecost.
December Actie Huizen
This year we were able to host the “December Actie Huizen” where we could support families who are not financially able to give their children the for the holidays. We have seen that over 120 children have been registered, we have a bunch of “gift givers” and separate list of financial supporters. We had a specific budget in mind so that the children could get three toys in different budgets. We are so thankful for all the gifts given. There is a small gap left in the finances and we want to close that gap so that we can start well next year. If the gap is closed we will add it to our diaconate fund.
Almere Giving Goal
Light House
The problems in the rural areas surrounding Knysna are complex. The villages, historically poor forestry workers, are largely impoverished. There is little work, high levels of alcohol and drug use, sexual abuse, poverty, and children are infected from an early age. These problems are passed down through generations due to the poor choices made by parents and their children.
We want to name the Multifunctional Children and Youth Center “Light House.” Karatara, in the original language, means “deep and dark.” We believe that change will come to the deep, dark living conditions of the children, young people, and their families because we come with the light of the gospel. The Light House will be a source of hope in this community.
In this “Light House,” as the center will be called, we can inspire them to make the right choices through programs, informal contact, and coaching. In this way we can guide them as Jesus commanded: “make disciples, … and teach them to observe all that I have commanded you” so that they can have a good future.
Dirk Jan
We are pleased to support our missionary Dirk Jan. He is currently active in mission areas in the Netherlands and Belgium, as well as Spain, Sierra Leone, and Gambia.
His ministry primarily involves supporting local churches and communities, building evangelism teams, and organizing outreach campaigns. He teaches at schools and supports other missionaries.
Building Celebration Almere
We’d like to raise funds to invest in a dedicated building for Celebration Church Almere. We believe God will bring the right building our way, and we want to be financially prepared to move with it.
What is Heart for the House?
Heart for the House happens twice a year at Celebration Church Netherlands. During this campaign we invest, above and beyond our regular giving, in goals that serve our church locations and worldwide missions. Visit the Heart for the House page to discover the current giving goals and updates on previous giving goals.
All your tithes and offerings to the church can be deducted from Dutch income tax as Celebration Church Netherlands falls under the ANBI group ruling of the Verenigde Pinkster- en Evangeliegemeenten. Our ANBI-information is published via their portal.
