How can you show your support and help those who are suffering in Ukraine? You have probably ask yourself that question. We’d love to share several ways how you can show your support. If you have questions about this, we’d love to help you via info@celebrationchurch.nl (subject: Ukraine Relief).
We really understand that this news had made you feel uneasy or scared. Can we pray for something? Let us know via the form on this page:
Supporting Ukraine could be done in several ways:
1. Pray in agreement
First of all – let’s pray in agreement for the following things:
- For presidents and political leaders to rule in justice and righteousness;
- For all the aggression to stop immediately;
- For protection of the people of the Ukraine;
- For peace to be restored;
- And most importantly: for people in both the Ukraine and Russia to submit their lives to the King of kings and Lord of lords.
2. Donate goods
Donate goods on Saturday, March 5, between 9:00 and 16:00. Address of the Diependaalse Kerk is Diependaalselaan 138 Hilversum.
Second, you can donate goods that are useful for the people in the Ukraine:
- Crockery (no glass)
- Non-perishable food
- Pots, pans and cutlery
- Toiletries
- Towels
- Bed linen
These goods can be brought to the Diependaalse Kerk in Hilversum tonight (March 3) between 19:00 and 21:00. There is a second opportunity to donate goods on Saturday, March 5, between 9:00 and 16:00. Address of the Diependaalse Kerk is Diependaalselaan 138 Hilversum.
3. You can give financially
Third, you can give financially towards humanitarian relief for the Ukrainians. We are currently exploring which partner organization / church we will be working with. My good friend, pastor and worship leader Paul Wilbur, knows a well-renowned pastor in the city of Kyiv.Convoy of Hope. If you want to give financially, you can go to our website and select the “Ukraine” option (www.celebrationchurch.nl/give/). You can also give directly into Celebration Church’s bank account (IBAN: NL96ABNA0467776482). Every week we will forward 100% of what came in to the partner organization we will be choosing.
Pastor Paul is doing a try-out to see if we can wire funds through this pastor’s congregation directly so it can be used towards humanitarian needs in the city. If that doesn’t work, there is another organization we will be working with, called4. Provide temporary shelter
Fourth, there are a number of (smaller) Christian families on the way from Ukraine that are looking for temporary shelter in the Netherlands. If you have an extra room available, you can be a huge blessing as we help them figure out a longer term plan here.Zeewoldehelptukraine@gmail.com or 06 5731 2292).
If you can help in this way, please reach out to our deacon Eddy Knoop (
