and all these things will be added to you.”

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness,
and all these things will be added to you.”
Matthew 6:33 ESV
Giving is a demonstration of our love for God and our loyalty to God’s family, the local church. Everything we own we have received from God. We return to him the first ten percent (the firstfruits or the tithe) of our income, because Malachi 3:10 shows us that it belongs in the storehouse, the local church, which is the place where our families receive spiritual nourishment and where are equipped for our ministry in the world around us.
The other 90% God gives to us to steward well. From that money we pay our bills, we save up for later, and we are generous whenever the Lord stirs our heart. When this is how we handle our finances, Malachi teaches us that we will blessed accordingly.
Those blessings look differently for each of us and even though God’s blessing is not our motive for tithing, it does remind us of God’s goodness toward us. 90% with God’s blessing will always go further than 100% without his blessing.
In Malachi God invites us to test him in the area of tithing. So why not take a step of faith and commit to return the tithe to him? Watch what God will do and share your testimony with us!
Why should I give?
Trusting God and putting Him first in your finances declares a blessing over your life. God tells us to test him in bringing the whole tithe and see if He will not “throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it” (Malachi 3:10).
Through your giving at Celebration Church you invest back into the spiritual growth of your family, but you also enable the church to reach others and increase their awareness of Jesus and the Gospel of the Kingdom.
